Smartphones and Apps are an inevitable part of our lives. In this episode, I bring you 10 top personal transformation apps that I love the most that can help you with meditation to become more productive and so on.
1. Insight Timer
Insight timer is a free meditation app with thousands of guided meditation, music and courses. I love the community aspect where you can see how many people are meditating across the world along with you.
2. dMinder
dminder tracks the sun and tells you the time and duration of sun exposure for optimum Vitamin D. The stopwatch interface lets you set your session timing and also warns you against the burn of the skin.
3. Todoist
Todoist is a simple todo list-making app that helps me with planning my day and also assigning tasks to my team. I list down all the tasks that need to be done on that particular day and can assign to the team. My team then gets an email notification and notification on their phone.
4. Evernote
Evernote is a cross-platform simple note-taking app. It is available as Phone app, Browser app and also as a desktop tool. I love the note organizing feature where I can organize all notes of this show under one notebook and so on.
5. Castbox
Castbox is a podcast listening app where I personally consume the podcasts. I love the interface and the in-audio search feature of this app. Which means search happens based on what’s said on episode in addition to title and description of the show.
6. Audible
Audible is an audiobook platform from Amazon. If you don’t enjoy reading books or you are more of an auditory learner, Audible could be a great addition to your app library where you can listen to the books.
7. Indistractable
Indistractable is not an app but the minimalistic app launcher. It is a home screen app that offers a minimalist interface. Which means you will not see visual clutter with all types of apps on your phone. This makes homescreen of your phone less distracting so that you can focus on what matters the most to you and not mindlessly open the app and waste the time. Give it a shot.
8. Screen Time
Screen Time a super simple app that keeps track of your phone usage time. This tool gives you the data for the last 7 days of your app usage with the breakdown of time spent on each app.
Also mentioned Iris Mini– an app that blocks blue light emitted from the screen.
9. 7 Minutes Workout
If you are someone who’s extremely busy and would like to stay healthy, 7 Minutes Workout is the app that you gotta have. It has some cool workouts to keep you fit all under 7 minutes.
10. Fabulous
Fabulous is a habit tracking app that helps you build good habits. But it does way more than habit tracking. You can call this app your personal coach that will guide you to set good habits and accomplish your goals.
